Horse First Heavy Sweat is formulated without glucose to replace electrolytes (body salts) lost by the horse during exercise.  This powder formula helps correct electrolyte imbalance to reduce muscle fatigue, increase stamina, improve recovery time after exercise and encourage water intake.  

Horses can lose body salts even if they don't show signs of seating- especially in hot, humid weather, while travelling or during times of stress.  These body salts are essential to an array of body functions including heart, kidneys and stomach.
